Social cohesion and talent were promoted through various sport codes, namely, darts, netball, athletics, basket ball, volleyball, boxing, chess, and soccer. Athletes participated in local, regional and national tournaments. The various local tournaments within Arandis over the whole year brought a total number of 2160 spectators together. Of the 2160 spectators, 1000 were boxing fans.
