The Rössing Foundation currently operates in the following Regions:

    • Erongo: Education, the Arandis Sustainable Development Project, Small-scale Miners Project
    • Kunene: Community-based Natural Resource Management Programme
    • Omaheke: Craft Development Programme
    • Omusati: Community-based Natural Resource Management Programme
    • Oshana: Education
    • Oshikoto: Community-based Natural Resource Management Programme
    • Otjozondjupa: Craft Development Programme

As can be derived from Figure 1 above, the Rössing Foundation runs different interventions in order to meet its four objectives. The Education Programmes are run in the Erongo Region, specifically in Arandis and Swakopmund. Additional assistance is provided to JP Brand in the Kuiseb Valley for the Topnaar community. Additional educational programmes are run in the Oshana Region, covering five schools. The Arandis Sustainable Development Programme covers sports development, agriculture, education programmes in Arandis, and the development work done with the Arandis Town Council.
